Turning Point, an organization working to end domestic violence. If you love children, then this is a ministry for you to invest your time in. A small team goes every Monday to play with the children so their mothers are able to attend counseling and classes. We are taking a temporary break from serving at Turning Point every week. Rice 'n Beans Homeless Ministry feeds 100+ people in the streets of uptown Charlotte every Tuesday night, 7pm at Tryon & Phifer. Students in Middle School or younger must serve alongside a parent/guardian. To participate each week, SIGN UP HERE. Questions? Email
Backpack Blessings Five Stones Church partners with Waxhaw Elementary, Western Union Elementary and South Providence School to supplement meals/snacks for children in need they can easily prepare for themselves at home. Clothing Ministry: We accept donations for the clothing ministry only on the last Sunday of the month at church. Please look for the Five Stones trailer at church that morning to drop off your gently used clothing items.
Clothing Ministry Five Stones Church offers a free shopping day quarterly to the community in need in the Waxhaw area. Our next free shopping day is in the Spring 2015.
Annual Turkey Fry Thanksgiving Outreach and Food Pantry November 26th SIGN UP
Pack a Shoebox and / or Volunteer at the Operation Christmas Child Processing Center! A great opportunity to serve with your family, friends or life group this season that will impact children all over the world. Children must be a minimum of 13 years old to serve at processing center but all ages can join in the fun of packing an individual shoebox. SIGN UP
High School Students: Each year during the Union County Schools Spring Break, High School students travel to New York City to serve with 15+ inner city mission organizations. This trip offers students the opportunity to break outside their world and see life through God's eyes by serving the homeless, playing with children living in difficult circumstances, and praying for complete strangers at Prayer Stations. Our next trip is April 2-11, 2015 during the Union Co. Spring Break.
All Ages & Families: Five Stones Church is partnering with The 410 Bridge in Kenya. The village we are partnering with currently is Kawira, about an hour outside of Nairobi, Kenya.
